Product Description
This product is suitable for use in power transmission and distribution lines with an AC rated voltage Uo/U(Um) of 3.6/6 kV or lower. The mechanical, physical, and electrical properties of the cables comply with the national standards GB/T 12706.1-2020 ("Cables with rated voltages of 1 kV (Um=1.2 kV) and 3 kV (Um=3.6 kV)") and GB/T 12706.2-2020 ("Cables with rated voltages from 6 kV (Um=7.2 kV) to 30 kV (Um=36 kV)").
In the cable voltage designation Uo/U(Um): Uo represents the rated power-frequency voltage between the conductor and earth (or metallic screen) used for cable design; U represents the rated power-frequency voltage between conductors used for cable design; and Um represents the maximum value of the "highest system voltage" that the equipment is capable of withstanding.
Operating Characteristics and Key Electrical Performance Specifications
1. Cable installation temperature: ≥ 0°C;
2. Maximum permissible long-term operating temperature of the cable conductor: ≤ 70°C;
3. Maximum operating temperature of the cable during a short circuit (maximum duration not exceeding 5 seconds): 160°C;
4. Minimum permissible bending radius of the cable: Single-core cables—20D (unarmored), 15D (armored); Multi-core cables—15D (unarmored), 12D (armored). (Note: D represents the actual measured outer diameter of the cable sample, in mm);
5. AC withstand voltage test for the finished cable.
6. Partial Discharge Test: For cables with a rated voltage of 3.6/6 kV, an AC voltage of 6.2 kV is applied, and the test sensitivity shall not exceed 10 pC.
7. The DC resistance of the conductor complies with the requirements specified in the standard GB/T 3956-2008, *Conductors of Cables*.
