Product Description
This product is suitable for use as a power supply cable or electrical connection within variable frequency control systems with a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV or lower. It is widely utilized across various industries, including papermaking, metallurgy, metal processing, mining, railways, and food processing. Both its mechanical and electrical properties comply with the national standards GB/T 12706.1-2020 ("Power cables with rated voltages of 1 kV and 3 kV") and Q/QL 017-2018 ("Power cables for variable frequency drives with rated voltages of 1 kV to 3 kV").
Operating Characteristics and Key Electrical Performance Specifications
1. Rated Voltage Uo/U: 0.6/1kV, 1.8/3kV.
2. Cable Installation Temperature: ≥ 0°C.
3. Long-term Permissible Operating Temperature of Cable Conductors:
For PVC insulation: 70°C; during a short circuit (maximum duration not exceeding 5 seconds), the maximum operating temperature of the cable is 160°C.
For XLPE insulation: 90°C; during a short circuit (maximum duration not exceeding 5 seconds), the maximum operating temperature of the cable is 250°C.
4. Minimum Permissible Bending Radius: Not less than 15D (where D is the outer diameter of the cable, in mm).
5. Possesses strong resistance to voltage surges, capable of withstanding pulse voltages generated during high-speed and frequent variable-frequency operations.
6. Features excellent shielding performance, effectively mitigating the adverse effects of high-order harmonics present in the inverter output.
7. Low transmission impedance and excellent electromagnetic compatibility.
8. Good anti-interference and low-radiation properties.
9. Features a symmetrical three-core cable structure design, offering superior transmission performance compared to four-core cables.
10. The DC resistance of the cable conductors complies with the standards specified in GB/T 3956-2008 (Conductors of Cables).
11. The finished cable successfully withstands an AC voltage withstand test at 50Hz, 3.5kV for 5 minutes without breakdown.
Cable Models, Names, and Applications
Note: Depending on user requirements, the following cables can be supplied: WDZB and WDZA type low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant variable frequency cables; and ZC, ZB, and ZA type halogen-containing, flame-retardant variable frequency cables.
Example: A copper-core, 0.6/1kV, XLPE-insulated, PVC-sheathed, copper-wire braided shielded power cable for variable frequency drive circuits (3x185 + 3x35 mm²) is designated as BPYJVP-0.6/1kV 3x185+3x35.
Remarks:
1. Armored structures and fire-retardant (fire-resistant) types of variable frequency cables can be provided upon user request.
2. The copper conductors within the cable may be tin-plated. For PVC-sheathed flame-retardant cables, the designation prefixes ZA, ZB, ZC, or ZD should be added before the model number; for flexible-structure cables, the prefix "R" should be added before the shielding code.
